Preliminary Examination
Preliminary Examination shall consist of one compulsory paper, namely, General Studies of 200 marks. The question paper shall be multiple choices, objective type. The question paper will be set both in Hindi and English.
The paper will consist of 100 Objective Type Questions, each of 2 marks, drawn from the subjects listed below; Candidates will have to answer all the questions.

JPSC Mains / Prelims Exam Pattern Details
JPSC organized the written exam in two parts first is prelims and second is mains. Candidates who clear the JPSC Prelims exam they will only need to prepare for JPSC Mains exam.
